I have just had fitted a hilux IFS power steering box to my hilux using the standard power steering pump from a leafy. The steering is quite heavy and when the vehicle is stationary, the wheel is difficult to get turning but noticably softer once turning. Even though it is still heavier than the standard powersteering setup. It also seems to lack responsiveness as the effort required to start the turning process reduces the "feel" coming back to driver via the steering wheel.
Any thouights guys? Would it be my pump not supplying enough pressure to the box?
