How to tell if you have a BJ40 or BJ42 power steering box

Hi

I have recently been lucky enough to get my hands on a 40 series ps box. I want to get a seal kit for it but was asked the question if it was out of a 40 or 42. i have no idea. How can you tell? Does it matter or is it the same kit used for both?

btw, how much were you quoted for the seal kit? I think i remember getting quoted about $250 from toyota.

Thank shorty. I have recently been told by the person who i got it from that it was off a 40 but the person he got it from had it on a 45 ute.

Do you know if the seal kit is the same for all models ie BJ40, 42, 45? He hasn't quotedme a price yet.
