is there a set size for tyres in competition? I am wanting to get into some comps and im just about to buy new tyres but dont wanna go to big and limit the comps i can do. I am based in Melb. cheers mitch

33" tyres will just you into just about any comp.....just won't be as competative (generally speaking),
35" Tyres will get you into any of the modified comps - but bump you a class (or out) in the more standard rig comps,
36" AFAIK is the limit for winch challenge events.
38"-52" Nissan Trials, TTC, Woodpecker and a few others.....

In Rock Crawling there are three classes depending on where you go.

Modified Stock class: 35" tires (spelt differently in the US)
Pro Modified Class: 37"
Unlimited: what ever the hell you want... :twisted: :lol:
