tyre size with cut guards

Post by Rotazuk »

Hi
On something like a 95ish disco what do you think the biggest tyre would fit with a guard cut only ? In therory it should be close to a mild lift if you have not packed the bump stops .

I have a 91 rangie with the guard cut and a small spring lift and 2" body lift . If I get a disco want to know how much work would be involved to fit existing muddies .

Cheers

Hi Chris

I run 31x10.5 R 15 muddies on my 95 Disco

I have 50mm lift & no rear sway bar & rear guards are cut.

The tyres still catch when trying hard
