You will get 28903203948023894 answers to each of your 28903203948023894 suspension questions.

Some like this some have a great run with this and that, but in reality, talk with people in your club with same trucks or similar rigs see what they run for the terrain your runnign in and go from there.

OME is top stuff, EFS also has a good rep. the only one with bad on large 4b's is Ratshit0

I had EFS stuff on my truck about 18 months - 2 years ago...was pretty disapointed with it. The vavling on the shocks just seem to harsh on rebound. I swapped them to pro-comps on the front, and its a 100% better.

As far as the springs go, they arent too bad...althought my 3" lift is basicly 2" now....but i guess thats to be expected with any spring.

If your going on price, may as well go ironman.....

OME valving sucks, springs are good.

EFS more price orientated.

Ridepro best in that price bracket/market IMHO

Bilstein work really well on touring patrol. [extra long to suit 3" + on order from Germany]

OME valving is fine if it is tailored to suit the pring BUT as per most major suspension mobs these days there are several choices of spring for one shock that often willl even suit more than one vehicle with the same valving. this does not work, you need to match springs and shockts together
If the above post did not offend you in any way please PM me so I can try harder!!

Generally this is my experience too.

I have had OME on two GUs with similar usage and I would buy it again.

The best thing about OME on a tourer is that you can buy most spares in almost any town, if something should not last the trip. How many agents for ARB are throughout this country compared to ironman, ridepro etc...

I didnt think OME were that good untill i tried a few other brands on my shorty I'm going to be running front LTR's (80series longers) and OME normal shocks for the rear as they dont work as hard. But if they do need replacing like everyone said they are only about $100 ish per shock and can be found just about everywhere.

Thanks for all your opinions on my 28903203948023894 suspension questions. Decided to go with the OME's subject to it solving my flare clearance issues with my ROH wheels and 33" muddies.

I'm also after advice on what springs and shocks to put on my LWB GQ. I headed down to arb today and they guy told me they really only do lifts up to 2 inches and could nearly get 3 if i use stiff springs.

Can some1 please tell me from personal exp what is a good combination for a LWB gq on lpg and future steel bullbar and winch. How do ppl find king springs (they worked well on my surf)

Thanks

Jimmy

ARB do 4 and 5" lift springs for GQ's and GU's, and also 'L' series shocks to suit. They are not an exceptionally stiff spring like other brands so should flex and ride really well. Which ARB did you go to?
