Looking good man. Is that cap pop riveted on there? what material did you use? What about the latch/lock mechanism, is it still in there? Do you just use the handle inside to open it?

I used 1.5 mm C channel 75mm wide and 25mm high.

The door lock for the inside handle links to a lever on top of the mechanism, I just cut a square outta the C Channel so that lever protrudes you flick it forwat=rds and the door opens.

The doors didn't come with trims so I cut the right shapes out of stainless, and sprayed the whole lot black.

I have a pic of the insides and the door mechanism somewhere, will post em when I can find em.

Instead of useing the inside handle I moved the outside handle down below the lock and modifyed the bit of rod that connects them. Works like a charm. Did you have trouble with your door bein a bit flimsy after being cut? Thinken of fillen mine with space invader.
