noise at low revs or when taking off in 80 series gxl diesel
Hi all. Just wondering if anyone out there knows what the noise is from the front end of the gxl landcruiser when at low revs or when taking off. I've heard other gxl cruisers make this noise too. Its a 80 series 1994

mine has this too..
i think it is the seperation between front and rear drive...
eg the rear trying to catch up with the front.
will let you knoe if the part time conversion fixes it.. doing it this weekend.

Btw, i have just been playing around with the idle adjuster, allowing revs get lower than 650rpm and I got the damn rattle, neutral and clutch in or out, and the rattle apeared to be coming from the clutch at lower than normal revs, a quick throttle hit would fix it. (Did this make any sense to you
I always though it was gear chatter at transfer.
