Hey, on my feroza around the wheel arches there is this yellow rubber strip.. its fraying and looks pretty naff so is it a good idea to take it off?

You probably could get rid of it, but it's purpose would be to stop the flare rubbing, which in turn will go down to metal, which will in turn rust. Also probably helps stop it from vibrating and causing a squeak and/or rattle.
If God did not intend for us to eat animals, then why did he make them out of meat?

I've got flares on my roza, pretty happy with it coz it stops the stone from chipping the painworks on top... and that rubber trim.. yeah, can get them from daihatsu or the like?? it's there to stop the plastic from rubbing the paints off the metal and u know the result in the end.

I had to replace a fender recently and this is what I concluded:

The rubber strips are for decoration to fill the gap between the body and the fender. The fender mounting hardward is what actually keeps it from rubbing.

If you leave the rubber strip out, your flares can vibrate and knocks on the fender/guard, causing it to rub the paint away faster.. if your a beach driver, u must've liked rust :?
