No limits have decided to make it that the furtherst car up the ramp wins as we are only getting a feel for what people want. If the night is a success we will be holding a day event where the ramp travel index will be used to score the cars and there would be a score card for every car on the ramp. So for the 13th of March the winner will be the furthest up the ramp. we now have king towbars and trailers sponsoring the prizes for the night come along and see whats on offer.

yep your right there Ray!! lots of tricks can be done to lift your rti.. When I saw quite a few of them there, letting tyres down and disconnecting shocks, I let mine down to show the difference to the organisers. lifted the rti by 145 so imagine how poor some of them would have went. They only cheat themselves.

future ramp days

Post by Pat Murray »

In future we ( No Limits) will ensure trucks are roadworthy (no disconnected shockies, bolts etc) and have road pressures in the tyres. Makes it more even--what's the point of winning if you have to cheat?

furure ramp days

Post by Pat Murray »

I should prolly qualify that statement. We were not saying anyone was cheating last time--just that we will tighten the rules up a little to make it fairer for all.

it is fair enough, i was the one that didnt have a shockie in, but i didnt take it out becuase i wanted to get a good score, the night before i had removed my old ones to make new ones, the shock hoops were finished, but didnt really feel like finishing them at 12midnight, but still didnt want to miss out on seeing what it would be.

all in all i was pretty happy with 712 with pretty much standard suspension, other then extended shackles and longer shockies. ;)

a list of all the scores would be good
85 LWB w. FRP Canopy
Ca18det conversion in progress, Vit PS, RUF,
6.5:1's, 33x12.5 Bfg's, custom front and rear bars.
