SUPERIOR ALL TERRAIN
Anyone got any results from the Superior yet????
Just keep swimmin..........Just keep swimmin...
We were happy enough with our placing of 6th in Super Mod, would've liked to have featured in today's final - maybe next time. We limped home early, and at that stage Big Red had just DNF'd the final shoot out with a snapped steering arm. Whitey and Will in the Trackabout Patrol were sitting in first with a Black/Green GU sitting in 2nd. Brad in the scout still had to run and I read above he won in the end (He drove well all weekend). I suspect that Dan took out second if he didn't break as he was blistering all weekend and qualified first.
We damaged all 5 rims but managed to beat 4 back in toshape well enough to hold air. Unfortunately the exhaust snapped off at the back of the turbo so the journey home was a bit hot and smokey in the passenger side of the cab and the firewall got damn hot. We had to keep stopping to check it wasn't too hot under there as the clutch fluid kept boiling (no clutch) and were worried as the fuel lines were also in the same area. Exhaust gas heat melted one of the air lines and it's bloody black and sooty under there now.

Thanks heaps guys!andy & di wrote:Huge Congratulations to B1 & B2 on the win also to Whitey and Will to take out 2nd and move Dan to 3rd, from what I've heard Dan is a pretty consistant runner. To all other competitors on the weekend well done
Dan was definitly quicker than me in the final but took out a flag. Unlucky for him. Just goes to show that the fastest car doesn't always count, you must still be tidy and consistant.
