You would need the bellhousing flex plate etc and the auto starter motor but the auto is a a strong box.
Can also be adapted to a gear driven Tcase if you want.

Perfect, now all it needs is to be the same length as the g52 and then i wont have to mod the new cross member i made Is a specific adapter required to mate the a343f to the gear driven case such as a custom job? or are there factory parts that can be used from a wreckers?
You need to tell them that the coupler is to go from the 23 spline output from the auto to the 21 spline of the T case the coupler they make is a bit small so ask them to make the coupler OD 39.9-39.925mm because you need to get a new bearing and seal for the housing on the auto.
Put an oring on the end of the coupler at the t case side this stops ATF fluid maybe leaking from the splines .
Or you can change the core plug on the auto output shaft that has 2 tiny holes with a blank core plug.
I have all the part #s for the seal and bearing its pretty straight forward just sounds like hard work but its not
.
Ive been dong a bit more homework, it seems the A340f is the box to use? Im assuming youve done this before? how did you go about getting the ECU wired up properly?
Basically i will need:
A343f or A340f auto, bellhousing flex plate and starter motor
Marks adator for gear driven case modified for new bearing and seal
New bearings and seals

Cheers, Ben.
When I wrecked out a 2.4TD Surf auto I noticed the crossmember was different to one on my 2.8D manual Hilux. Bolted up to stock location on chassis of course, but where it bolted to box was set back further, maybe 20mm. I sold the one I had to someone who must've been doing same as you.
