I'm fairly new to 4x4 scene and have been advised that my GQ needs a lift a 2" lift would make a big difference I have been told, when I bought the Patrol it it had OME shocks with standard springs. What I need to know is can I get away just doing the springs or do I need to do the works? Also can anyone comment on Ironman Springs?
Regards
Warfinger

most aftermarket replacment shockis are fine for a 50mm lift however you should really get a spring and shock combo that complements each other. mismatching componants can effect the ride and hadeling quality, a complete matched 2" is $800 from us and there are a few around that price range

and as Tiny says, gettin matched shocks/springs is the most important thing of it all.Tiny wrote:most aftermarket replacment shockis are fine for a 50mm lift however you should really get a spring and shock combo that complements each other. mismatching componants can effect the ride and hadeling quality, a complete matched 2" is $800 from us and there are a few around that price range
