96' engine in 87' samurai

Post by buger »

Will a 96' injected engine fit in a 87' Samurai with carb? :?:

Are there needed some modifications to the engine mounts, will the new engine bolt on the old tranny? :?

What parts of the 96' Samurai will I need to make it run (electronic)? :?

Thanks!

You will need all of the sensors, wiring looms, fuse boxes, ECU and ECU harness, and all ancillaries that are attatche dto the motor ( altenator, starter, etc....and prolly the flywheel and clutch too)

If the EFI motor is still a G13 varient, it will bolt up to your gearbox.
