Nothing personal, but i think the Cheezy bar is very weak toward the outer ends in a horizontal direction (which is where you need it)

fwiw, I'd have a fat bar over the 2 having seen Johnnos one, but I like the look of the ARB bar, where it protects the bonnet/grill/headlights etc way more than the others. These bits are all expensive to repair/replace.
But if I had one (fat/cheezy) I wouldnt bother swapping for the other - better things you could spend money on..

For general alround/ touring i swear by the ARB bars. I lost count at 14 roos . I expect above 30 have hopped in front of mine and almost the same in front of my next door neighbours disco ( arb as well ) back in the day. Neither have any dents or sracthes from our national icon.

arb bars do look great and are designed and built well, just some people want different. just like different 4wd's. we all have different tastes
and personally the cheezy bar looks nice, but i question it's strength as stevothedevo does. it's got some fundimental engineering flaws.
the fat bar however looks strong as, but doesnt appeal to me looks wise. but again if you bought it, i'd say you've got a well made and bar. just get him to put the top hoop on facing back not fwd.

Problem with the ARB bar is they are squarish along the bottom and tend to dig in when winching. agree.. but how often are you in shit that deep? Was out Gem brook last weekend in a shallow mud hole with a real nasty step out. I winched real easy. Got an Aus 4wd bar. my mate with an ARB bar caused grief. Had to get the spade out, round off the step. Just to stop the winch exstenstion strap from breaking.
