My learned friends,
I'm trying to sort out some lower ratio CW&P for my 3.5l DOHC NJ (the worlds easiest to modify 4WD - Not!)
Anyhoo I saw a Mitsi 4wd canter truck tother day and wondered if the diffs were anywhere near the same as my Paj ones
???? anyone know

Ado,
Dont know about the Cantor but the 4.90 from the 2.8l TDI ar a straight swap, I did this in my NK.
I didnt really notice much benefit & for the $$$ spent I felt it a waste of money.
Unless of course you want to run much bigger tyres??
cheers

Heaps of data there.
I have looked into the compatibility of Canter/Fuso drivetrains with Paj's and the news isn't very good.
The 4wd version runs 5.71 ratio's with a rear diff lock but the diff is way larger than a 3.5 Paj. The t/case runs an interesting 1.98 low range and a 1.09 high range - great for those big tyres
The 2.0 ltr version 2wd runs a 5.29 rear diff but I can't reconcile the C&P part no to anything I have for a Paj so I believe it's a different part entirely.
If you find any data to the contrary please let me know.
