rims

Post by benjamin78au »

hey , i have a quick question , i have 235s that rub on full lock . there are some 7 inch with 13 mm offset 2nd hand rims for 150 will they fit my tyre and will that be enought, or they have some 8 inch ones with an inch ofset. tyres rubbing and killing turning circle at moment. am aware that there will be more wear on bearings.

Any other benifits / disadvantages.
besides being a bit more stable. width wise, what will the foot print of the tyre change with a wider rim? tyre wear? Roadworthy / legal wise i dont' think it okay.

7"/13mm offset is the same backspace as 8"/25mm (about 3.25-3.5"assuming you mean -13 and -25mm). If they are +13/+25 then it would be 4.25-4.5"and 5.25-5.5" respectively.

What rim width/offset do you have at the moment?

8's are too big i think for your tyres and 7's would be maxing it out i think.

If they are F100 ROH rims they would be +7mm
