Yep - this is the slowest event feedback ever! Make with the pics and the placings.

OK, i don't know about placings but...

Wild violet rolled and lost the windscreen, B1 did a fair bit of damage including trashing a rear quarter panel. From what he was saying, screwy had a lot of problems all way round, including a CV and lockers not working properly. He seemed to stall then not be able to get it started again, don't know what caused it, maybe the same fuse as willowglen?
Dobbins also rolled. Athol lost a green light off the roof.

I'll have to go watch the video we took to get some more news.

TOPS WEEKEND :finger:

Up at newy all this week on holidays

I had a few little dramas but nothing massive....

blew a CV in first event ( mini wiraba ) on sat, then put both haultecs in and had no dramas all weekend wat so ever....

lost and exaust mount ( 5 min job ), and lost my ignition circuit as my loom hit my alternator and cut a coupla wires ( just bi passed it for the weekend ), and nearly ran out of fuel..... thats about it

the patrol held up quite well and im happy with quite a few of the drives....

i came 27th out of the 40 odd and i placed 5th total in all terrain challenge

she is still running and could comp tomorrow, so i got through it and gave it a go and thats all i wanted to do, congrats to all other drivers and officials and marsials for a great event, ill be back next year bigger and badder ;)

I WANT PICS :D

and i didnt come last in the travel ramp :finger:

screwy ;)

Looks like a top event.

If i had the $$$ i would build a second gereration Mog and actually have a go at this event.

One thing that has disappointed me in the pics -

Why Graffiti the rocks? Surely some posters around the place would look better to the outside eye. This has really disappointed me. SHAME SHAME SHAME! (p.s it won't even effect where werock puts their coures as they will more than likely be further up the back).

Looks tacky and very bad for the image of 4wd events!!

If i was a competitor there, i would be ashamed to use any of those photos (with the graffiti in them) for promotional purposes.

I agree POS - thought the exact same things when looking at the pics. Posters or banners would have been better. Probably also another thing for the anti-4x4 lobby to pick up on.

But well done to all the competitors, especially Mick!

GU had rock crushed diffs with rear steer and hydraulic suspension. very well done.

BOG hole sat night looked like 4,000 could have been in attendance. situation was they ran 5 stages simultaneously durring the day so the crowd was spread out but still a lot of people there.
