Equal 7th with Germon Racing I believe.

As far as I remember, it went OPW, MOG, Dobbin, Trailer Queen, *someone I cannot remember* (maybe the nissan?), Suzuki 404, DGR (ME) and Germon Racing

Sorry I can't be sure on those placings but I was in shock at the announcement of our own placing!!

Why Graffiti the rocks? Surely some posters around the place would look better to the outside eye. This has really disappointed me. SHAME SHAME SHAME! (p.s it won't even effect where werock puts their coures as they will more than likely be further up the back).

Looks tacky and very bad for the image of 4wd events!!

If i was a competitor there, i would be ashamed to use any of those photos (with the graffiti in them) for promotional purposes.
It was something that we decided to try, and yes it is easily removed. I'd like to see some more feed back on this.

Thanks for the comments.

Feedback on the TT stencilling, well I thought it was a bit over the top, cause it was everywhere. If its paint that will wash off, then no real harm done. I personally think one or two large stencils, perhaps on the Frametwister bonus rock, would be enough.

I also think there were a couple of more important issues that should be raised, but I will not do so in a public forum, as I dont want it to become a bitchfest. I have already made approaches behind the scenes, but if someone from the organising committee would like to PM me, I will explain what I mean.

One thing that has disappointed me in the pics -

It wasnt too bad on the ground POS.
and you sure about the werock tracks comment, its almost the same as the tracks that were used last time at werock.
maybe it was TTC way of saying we made these courses so lets sign it as such???

Cant tell from the pic. Or are they modified GU axles (rear steer) ?
GU had rock crushed diffs with rear steer and hydraulic suspension. very well done.

BOG hole sat night looked like 4,000 could have been in attendance. situation was they ran 5 stages simultaneously durring the day so the crowd was spread out but still a lot of people there.
The Gu is running Rockwell swivel housings and a nissan Center( the big suckers) all built by Dobbin.the same setup as pete's front diff.

What a weekend
I had a ball I give the hilux the bigest flogging it has eva had and it only broke an iner axle.

Bring on next year.

Someone mentioned that the tracks had a little work done to them on Saturday during the day to help competitors get past the 5/10 point mark after Friday night's stuck-fest.

If this was done, it was obviously done to keep the crowd interested, and fair enough, but I think the fair thing to do in this situation would be to give everyone the average score, or just don't count the scores for the mud into the totals for the event.

A track should either naturally degrade, or if it's decided that it's an unfair or undrivable track for the majority of the entrants, it should be removed. You can't modify it after half the field has already run it.

Can someone confirm if the mud stage was truly modified, or is this just a rumor floating around?

After the mud run on Saturday night as I was going back to the car these two boys about 10 or 12 yrs old came up and asked me if I knew where the wet T-shirt comp was on, I nearly pissed myself laughing at the two dudes! Anyways I told em to head towards the Newie Crews camp for all the action and ask for Jess!....Just kidding Jess!

Anyway we got the most awesome footage on the weekend, I got at least five roll overs no more then twenty feet from where I was, and some absolutely crazy driving  , the navis were awesome and the drivers mega gutsy so well done to all of you guys, what a show! This years TT DVD and footage on 4wdtv will be awesome!

i mentioned something about this on saturday night.

Apparantly in the past it was run smallest tyres ---> biggest tyres.
I thought this idea sounds best.

the difference between the mud run from FRIDAY - IMOSSIBLE TO MOST to SATURDAY - PIECE of PISS was utterly ridiculous.....in this case when it was so obvious I think something should have ben done..!!!

After the mud was run and done on Saturday night I asked an official if it had been changed at all after fri nights dismal results.

The official said that it definately hadn't been altered, and that they too where surprised how easy it was for the second group, but that it was not changed in any way at all.

Just luck of the draw i guess...
