Your are looking for a 13-BT.... there is a couple of wreckers in brisbane (look in the 4x4 trader) that sell them, u can go down and see them running etc before you buy.
Cheers,
Dan.

the 13bt is stock for the bj73. They are basically the same block. the only thing you have to do to make them fit in is do a return line back to the tank for the fuel. because they are direct injection the bs and 3bs are not.
As far as I know the 3b did not come out with a turbo, at least not in Australia anyway. The only ones that you will see with a turbo are after market turboed 3bs.

I agree, I had a AXT turbo fitted to my 3B.

yo wicked,

im also considering this but going to opt for the denco kit over the ATX.. your other option is a junkyard turbo..

you might be able to find a 3b cheap in the trading post or weekend shopper maybe, some non-turbo bundys came with the 3b and might also be an option. ive seen rolin imports advertise 3b's for around $3500 if your super keen.

you can junkyard up a turbo for the 3b by flipping using the std exhaust manifold and finding a garret turbo from 2.xlter petrol motor.. heaps of info in ih8mud.

your options are turbo a 3B or find a 13B-T. the 3B takes well to turbocharging but its potential is limited due to indirect injection. a 13B-T is direct injected and can take more boost but it is a more expensive motor to buy in the first place so it depends how much you've got to spend.

14 or 15 B motors are very hard to find in Au and so are very $$.

I know where there are 2 14b motors for sale if you are interested for around $3500 - $4000. There was 3 of them but now there is one in my bj73, so now that leaves 2. They do get more in but they could be dearer.
