question for the big rubber runners

Post by 4Speed »

If you want to run big rubber, 42's 46's etc running say a 1.3 or 1.6, who thinks its better to run dual trannys, auto or manaul gear box, or keep the same tranny and reduce the hell out of the ratios. Last which gear box's are the strongest? Sierra? vitara? or should you just run Hilux gear?
Thinking in mind not wanting to use heavy gear just reinforce the lighter stuff eg ford or nissan gear.

Whats your idea's?

Yes I was inspired by TT on the weekend, just goes to show you don't need big cubes to run big tyers and still do dam well!!!

The more u reduce your ratios in either the tcase or diffs, the weaker they become.
