Cargo Rack to fit on existing roof racks

Post by bluecraka »

Hey has anyone built a cargo rack to fit on existing rolla roof racks. I like what rhino has to offer but they seem to start from about $450 . Was hoping to get out of it cheaper.

for my brothers wagon, we mesured the size we wanted and made a box frame out of 25x25x3mm angle and used 15x15mm mesh. Then used hose clamps to hold it to roof racks, worked a treat :D

I haven't yet...but I will be in the next few weeks.

I will be buying Rhino roof racks to mount onto the roof to start with.

I will probably be using 25x25 RHS and will get someone to bend it for the corners.

Will most likely use a number of hose clamps to hold it on unless someone knows of anything better.

Will attach some mounting points for spotlights at the front also.

Cheers
