what 4wd to buy, help please

hi all im lookin for a 4wd around 5-6 grand that has room for 2 kids and luggage. any opinions please. it will be used mostly on road with about 20% off road sand etc cheers shaun

Older Pajero wagon. you have options of petrol or diesel. Good honest truck with enough room in your price range.

Yes but with two kids, might be concerned about fuel economy (or lack of) especially in the sand.

V8 Range rover $2500 - $3000 for a real flash one complete with running gear, $800 for LPG kit (cheaper second hand) and you too can have $5.40 for every 100Km on the highway so economy is a moot point !

Go a Paj around 1990 model, or a Pathfinder or a Vitara 5 door.
