Post by Harps »

Hi All,

Just moved to the bayside area. Now I am after a good mechanic in the bayside area of Melbourne. Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Servicing mainly. Minor mods. Looking for someone that knows GQs inside out. Probably looking for someone a bit closer to gardenvale.. I know i know, fussy!

A number of people in the Nissan club are using John (sorry I've forgotten his last name) at Cologne Motors, 5/4 Canterbury Rd Mordialloc-Braeside, VIC, 3195. Phone No 9580 9045.
I've only ever heard good things about his work and he's a bit of a funny bugger as well.
Regards Andrew.

2 i can suggest are Sandy Bowman at Aus 4wd Specialists. Not sure about servicing etc. but a guru with mods and comp work. He's in Bayswater

the other is Greg Smith at Smithys Outback in Cranbourne. bit of a hike, i know from gardenvale but worth it. hes reasonable on price and good on advice.(hey that rymes)

I would also recomend Sandy.

Just had some work done on my gq. Did a great job and was happy to answer all kinds of questions on future mods. Pluss he owns a few gq's
