I dont see why it would be a joke. But he still has not broken some of the components that are breaking in Longfields so its either stronger than a long or he hasnt tested them enough.

Yes seems to be OK.

Replys to emails promtly.
And the canadians seem to think its ok as well,
True no one is breaking inners yet but they are not breaking cv's either so seems like a good product at this stage.

actually the price won't go up,
the only thing that will cost more is if you choose to buy new birfs to smurf, but the process cost will stay the same. I practice honest bussines, and thats my cost

No worries Travis i wasnt getting at that your price would go up but more the fact that by the time they are landed here in Aus they will cost a lot more than $40aud.

Good to see some more competition out there for the longs and also for these new birfs that Camo has talked about on Pirate.

TRDV is the guy making them, email him and find out. I think shipping one way is gunna be around $100 AU.

The big difference will be turn around time. And they will be new CVs only not used ones. No core needed and will be approx half the price of the longs.
All Toyota ones will be done and also Rover ones.
Also Modified toyota CVs to suit rovers with no inner axle replacement needed.

Do you mean toyota CV's with an AEU2522 Rover star ? that way they would be 23 spline inner and 30 spline (toyota) outer???

Yes if it works out that will be correct. You will use a custom drive flange.

Yes, but these smurfs are below the amount that you would have to pay duty on.

Dont forget that the $40 is to have your Cores modified. So you need to ship yours over there first as well.

ruff, does that mean he sent up a new aftermarket birf to be smirfed and it failed, or was it a new genuine birf.

The aftermarket nissan cv's are no where near as strong as the genuine ones so maybe the toyota ones are the same.

Yeah aparently it was an aftermarket birf and i always thought they were weaker than a genuine NTN Birf but my longs are aftermarket Birfs and they are holding together.
Travis has said that he has so far only treated genuine ones so maybe the aftermarket ones need treating differently.

yes this is true, I was not very confident, in these birfs, to start with the innards are considerably smaller, and I feel the quallity is not quite there. I'm sure with some desrtuctive testing I could develope a better procees for these "new" birfs. these were the first ones that I have done from "new" birfs.
