Little help on a little car; BJ70

Post by farmerdan »

Hey everyone, I was hoping to get a little guidance with purchasing a new BJ70. [http://www.autotrader.com.au/DealerProd ... ctID=12426] This is the car. It should be the one on top of the list, the fat lipped BJ70.

It is an import and I am wondering if this makes a difference? I have had a BJ70 before, a 1987 model. This one is a 1990 and I was wondering if this changes the engine at all? E.g i had just changed the injectors in the my old one, are they transferable?

I was thinking of putting a AXT turbo on it just for a little extra kick but then read a lot about the Bj73-74 with its direct injection and wondered if it is worth looking around for one instead.

Thanks for any help you can offer

Dan

definately the older model, id be looking for a later pj70 with the 5 cylinder 3.5 diesel....or the hj70 with the 1hz.
There could be anything in there fropm the 3b to the 13bt....it is also probably 24 volt.
