getting some tyres tomorrow, just wondering what peoples opinions are on them? i havnt decided what im going to get (at the moment in thinking claws)
i do about 50/50 on/offroad
they are going on my pootrol.
any thoughts people????

ive had both, changed from muddies to claws after about 30k. muddies are pretty good in their own right but the claws out do them in the really tough stuff. theres nothing really seperates them til then. ;)

having said that i just had my second set of claws fitted yesterday. :armsup:

wear rates are the same, drive em hard on tar road and they'll dissapear real quick say 35k, drive properly and mates have got 70-80k from them.
as for me im gona try to drive more carefully from now on............

mine were decent when i start driving them but were not new tho, Ill admit that, and on wet roads the bfg's were not real good for pulling up in the wet(thats my experiences) but I have heard claws get to be the same when getting older.

Nah nah nah. The in thing these days is to get cut boggers.
Drive nicely and ya might nearly get 5000 klicks out of them.
And it gives you a nice excuse to spend heaps on a stereo upgrade.

Go the claws! Just had a set fitted friday and went out to gemby on sunday and they were unreal! Although id have no clue on wear rates etc... but i know theyre a shit load better than coopers st's :P

i went out on open spool diffs in a leaf sprung 40 with 40%tread on radials against my mate in a gq with rear locker and 70-80%mudds and out did him with ease so my opinion is claws all the way but thats my opinion :roll:

ive got claws ond would recomend them to anyone the radial will give you a good tyre on road and a better tyre offroad the last 2 sets of bfg ive had went back for warinty and the coopers i also still own are the WORST tyres ive ever owned
