I think out of the 17 rigs at XRCC 99% of those will be back and i am sure with WEROCK been run only a few weeks after on similar terrain there will be a few WEROCK competitors keen for some practice on the same terrain.

Is that cheating...or just research?
Not that I have a problem with cheating....apart from my addiction to it, that is
Due to the great responce from Round1, there will now be 2 Classes:-
Modtruck:- Full bodied, original chassie but rear tube work allowed, upto 37" (measured at 24psi) tyres, no rear steer, plus normal safety requirements.
Outlaw:- Must be built to engineering standards and have full safety requirements.
As of Round 2 all Courses will have a total of -20points for progessive scoring. Etc:- a 5 gate course would have a gate value of -4 points a 7 gate course would have a gate value of -2.85. The reason for doing this makes all courses the same value and will make it fairer over the weekend. Bonus gate points will depend on the gate, reverse and all other penalties will apply. Pointout is 40points and a 10minute time limit will apply to all courses. All other penalty points remain the same.
After Round 1 It appeared that the spectators enjoyed shorter courses (around 5 gates), so I will be doing my best to set up those type of free flowing courses, but always keep in mind that the courses will be more of a techanical type.
Cheers

Awesome work Dave.
Good to see PROCOMP supporting XRCC.
Love the Shorter courses.
One thing is to also look at increasing the number of satges from 2 per day to 3. Stages are shorter and 10 min time limit will allow easily 4 stages a day. But i think 3 would be a good stepping stone for the next event!
Mate thanks for the feed back. I will look at having more Courses over the weekend.
3 - 4 Courses sounds good on Saturday. Lets see what happens.
In my mind it would be good to see 4 on Saturday & at least 2 on Sunday. By only having 2 on Sunday (depending on entrants) and as a lot of competitors have a long way to travel we will still finish at 2pm and presentations will be at 3pm.
Cheers

This should be a really COOL event
Talking to a few guys from NSW's at WEROCK, some of them are really keen to get up here for this one.
WEROCK just had the largest number of competitors ever to a Rockcrawling event (19) it won't surprise me one bit if we see more than this at XRCC round 2.
My Hilux is back to standard for a DOT inspection on Friday, But it all goes back in on Saturday Time for the 4 link i feel.
We are so looking forward to this round, & sounds like it will be another good turn up...... Cant wait.
