Hope someone can enlighten us. Dreamz bought a T/Case out of a 92' Leaf Zook and he has a 98'? Coilly. It doesn't look like it is going to fit to me. The drive shaft out of the gear box on the coilly is about 80mm longer than my shaft on an 88' WT 1.3 with the(apparently) same T/Case that he has bought. The drive shaft to the front diff is also different between the coilly and my leaf.
What I would like to know is are we able to fit this at all? Or is the only transfer case that will fit a coilly out of a coilly. My job was just to fit it but I think I am up shit creek.
Any help would be appreciated
There's a couple of coileys in our club running leafy t-cases (so as to be able to use lower gear kits)
I don't know details, but something has to be fabbed.
So can't tell you how, sorry, but it is doable.
I believe gwagensteve knows

I,ve got an older style case in my 98 coilly and i have hade to change a few things.
* change the drive shaft out of the gear box to a older model one.
* when i fited tha case on the original brackets the front drive shaft (form the diff) was fully compresed and had no movement in it at all. so i have moved the whole t case towards the back of the car about 30 - 40 mm by extending the long bracket with some angle and re drilling some holes. (not that hard to do)
* the case "was sitting to flat" and the small shaft from the gear box was on a big angle, so i used about a 2 inch spacer under the small bracket to lift one side of the case up (side where she small shaft joins) to get a better shaft angle.
Thanx all.
Still having dramas. It turns out that someone from NBS sold Dreamz a 1litre transfer case not a 1.3. New Jack Shaft from Suzi Sport today only to find that the flange was just too different to fit. Phone call to Mark's boys at Suzi Worx and a drive from Slacks to Maroochydore to get a flange for a 1 litre transfer case!
I hope the it finally fits when he they get it back here!
Thanx to Suzi Worx for all their help over the phone.
