This is not at full flex but I don't imagine it goes much further, maybe a foot or two. It's a wild old ride I tell you....no shockies, or brakes at the moment ( good handbrake ) the winch works well and the cable is in great shape! :D

that things a beasty looking thing. are you gonna do any panel work on it and tidy it up? i love the basicness of the thing. what sort of use are you going to put it to? will it be registered?

Yeah and if the comp truck sufffers a misfortune .. you can fire up the blitz and still compete :armsup:

but with a wheel base you can mesure in nautical miles the rti wouldn't be that good and ramp over.....

A mate of mine has one of those old girls with a big arm and pulley off the back ,,he uses it for pulling logs outa the river country around griffith ,,he used 2 sell slabs and fire wood ,awsome to watch comin up a river bank on 2 wheels dragin a big log behind ,they sure do flex alot

Nice Blitz! Saw one recently at the bullarto vintage tractor pull, did a demo run, think it got pretty close to a full pull, cant remember what weight it was pulling tho, was up just before the 2 stroke chamberlain super 70's so wouldn't have been bad!

Its a Ford CMP "Blitz" made in 1943 running an old flat top V8. I plan to just get it running good and use it round my block moving timber n rocks and pulling my buggy outa the creek from time to time :D might look into vintage rego at some stage...it would definately be a novelty at an event but I reckon the Mogrover would still hold "recovery vehicle" honours...these trucks weren't made to turn corners :) till next update...

I found another one sitting in very long grass on a property out the back of Beenleigh...on my way to Ormeau the other weekend. It had been painted yellow!!

So there are a few out there...
