Its a 1997 4.5 auto with 140 000km. Its running 33's and a 2 inch suspension lift...Around town it seems 19L/100km is the norm. On the highway today, I averaged 14.3L/100km. I was quite happy with that. Thats what my 2h turbo diesel 60 was using on 35's.
Not fair i had to go through issues to get it sorted and yours is good off the fllor. BUGGER.

Update - have put extractors on as i believed it had an exhaust leak, which it did turn out to be. I can't believe the gains in economy and power. Absolutely flies on the highway and so far the tank is above 1/4 and have done 430kms. It has NEVER done that.

Red Rover, what brand of Extractors did you get fitted? I have heard conflicting reports that the extractors wernt worth the money for the gains made.

Hurricane. Sure it improvement was far more than just noticeable. Having said that I also had an exhaust leak therefore I can't say what it would do on a car without an exhaust leak and std manifold and then changed to extractors. But yes, the difference is pretty good. Although the next step is looking at another engine and build it to suit supercharger and fit one. Wholesale autos say it will handle to power with the upgrade torque convertor and valve body. mmmmm more power captian!

what computer did you end up fitting and is it petrol ?

as for supercharging it - i thought you were trying to improve fuel ecomnomy, know a mate with one and the fuel gauge drops quicker than a lead balloon.

cheers

Getting LPG fitted
Well, the LPG is fitted. It's a bit down on power compared to petrol but at 47.5 cents a litre compared to $1.39 a litre I'm pretty happy with it. I might have a look at cleaning the coil connections though. LPG usage is around 30l /100km (running 33' M/T's) in shitty stop start city traffic which seems pretty high even for LPG.
