which locker for front or back

Post by Rascal »

I have a 85 4runner and two lockers, a powertrax lockright and ez locker.
Which is best for the back, they both will do basically the same but which one is more likley to be quite when locking and unlocking in the rear.

If I remember correctly the powertrax is the quiter of the two but wait for some more opinions.

I suspect this is the case, I know my last 4wd system lokka didn't made any noise or clicking.
The ez locker doesn't require ckecking tolerances where the powertrax does. So in a worn carrier the ez may be noisy.
