hey hey,
well i too am 19 and let me just say i reakon save as much as u can and buy the latest model 4WD u can afford. The old ones are huge, tuff and look awesome but i reakon i have spent soooo much time just repairing the thing after weekends away leaving me with no money too spend on mods. Or at least an old model that has been all recon.
Also buying a car that has been modifed is a good idea but just make sure u dont go in to deep. I have seen some early hilux's with 6's and 8's in them which on paper sound cool but try and repair them after someone else has installed the motor and done a sh*t job at it. Many a spanner has been chucked because wires change colour, bolts are in places that they shouldnt be and the list goes on........
hope this helps,
Cheers,
Greazy

What about an early turbo diesel Rocky? Solid diffs and spares are readily available (so im told). Theres always troopies, MWB CRuisers or GQ Patrols.
