anyone know exactly how they work?
i'd like to get one for my pos, but dont know if i can adapt it to run with my slipyoke eliminators or what :?

so how are they setup tim? is it like a splined gear that goes onto the output shaft, then the flange that the tailshaft bolts to, has a matching gear cutout in the centre to allow it to slide on and off the one on the output shaft, thus disconnecting rear drive? :?

i didnt get a close look but i belive

u just pull the rear flange off and slide it on in place
and then it just has a collar that either locks it in drive
or pulls it back so it just spins

sounds like we're both trying to say the same thing :lol: :D

now all i need to find out is if vitara and sierra trasfer cases have the same output shaft splines and diameter......which i'm pretty sure they do? :?

I have just finished making my own from a cut down case. the only dissadvantage is it is a bit longer than the trailtough one.
Its a wheelbase thing

Its at suziwork (mud4bs) at the moment I took it down to show him and left it there as I didn't want to drag it though the night run. I don't know if he can take pics for me. It just looks like a minny tranny though.

I didn't realy get any good pics of putting it together as I had dirty hands and it was jens camera. I did get a pic of all the custom bits before I started but didn't really want to release it ;)

What about telling us what parts u used? was it mostly zuk or alot of custom stuff, what did it cost u??

been on the phone to the bloke I got to do mine. All zuk parts. U supply two counter shafts and empty cases and it will set u back around the 700 mark.

but we better see how good mine is gunna work first ;) I won't even have time to test it before xrcc :?

Gave it a floggen all weekend and loved it. Got sore cheeks today from smilen every time I did a dig. I recon its one of the amin reseaons I got second over all at xrcc.
