Hi all,
Was looking around my local caryard yesterday and found an HSV Jackaroo. Thought it was a joke at first but did some digging around and it seems to be legit - they made 95 in '93. The one I saw had 230K on the clock and it looked like the bodywork & interior was in good condition and had been looked after. Couldn't pop the bonnet or get inside it though. It was advertised at $8999.
Looked like it had a little spoiler, sports seats & wheel and of course the HSV badge. Does anyone know what else HSV did to it? Is it pretty much a stock 3.2 at heart?
Another question - anyone know what the overall height of a stock Jackaroo is?
Thanks - Mike

The 3.2's in those were the single overhead cam not DOHC like the later ones. They still went alright though.
The nicest Jackeroo I've seen is Holdens promotional one with a chopped roof, Big lift, 35's and a 255kw 5.7lt. Pity they not going into production though See the "Jack 8" here:
