Where can I find Silverstone MT-117ex in Brisbane?

Post by Gee »

I've been looking into get a cheap set of 32's and found that these are one of the few tyres that actually have an OD of 32 inches (32.3 in fact). Has anyone had any experiences with them, and more importantly, know anywhere that stocks them in Brissy?

Chimpboy had these on the MU and then the GQ. Seemed to be a good option and were very cheap at the time.

Remember guys there is MT117 (280/85/16 or about 36") MT117 EX (max size 32") or MT117 sports (33" or 285/75/16).

All 3 are different tyres.

In Brissy you can call Neta Tires. 07 3266 7377. Chat to Paul Hunt. These guys are the QLD distributors for Silverstone. ;)

my 117 sports measured to be about 33.4inches
they seem to work quite well but i have to air down fairly low as they are a bit stiff.
i go to 10psi and thats on a 2t pajero.
got mine for $200 each.

Hmmm.... they dont say they're that big when you see the diameter specifications... nice if they're a little bigger than expected.

I like the look of them and I will be looking for some new rubber soon.

i think they say they are smaller on the website and also if you do the conversion (i did mine on an online calculator) it comes up to be 32.8

but i have a feeling that that is the worn out measurements so when they are brand new they are larger.
