Yeah it's a 2.5L, it's either out of a JZA70 Supra or Soarer. You will have your conversion completed alot sooner than me, im still waiting for my car to arrive!!!!
The dump pipe off the turbo looks really restrictive, I am going to make two seperate dump pipes out of stainless steel. Ive already pulled all the piping off the turbos, aswell as the water and oil lines. I tried to remove the turbos and exhaust manifolds but the nuts are pretty seized on the studs due to a little rust and the temperature changes. Hopefully I can remove them by heating them with the oxy/acytelene, then quenching with water.

My half cut should arrive tomorrow (Wednesday) or Thursday at the very latest!
Hey Skip I need to replace one of the turbos (the rear one) on mine (they are sending another one for free with the cut)...I hope that it comes off ok and is not a pain to get off.
Post up some more pics skip! (it will help me sleep!)
Cheers,
Nick

Do you know what model turbos they are BUNDERA? Mine are CT12A. I eventually got the turbos off, sprayed some lubricant stuff on the nuts like WD40, let it soak for a day. I put a 14mm spanner on, then locked a 26mm spanner into it and lent on that, they took some major weight swinging off the spanner to crack them. A couple of the studs unscrewed instead off the nut coming off
Im going to run twin 2.5" pipes off the turbos, merging into a 3" system, not too sure about muffler. I still have to find out whether ill need a catalytic converter or not. AFAIK if you upgrade the engine on a pre catalytic converter car with an engine that came with a catalytic conveter from the factory, you still dont have to use a catalytic converter, hope that made sense. I don t know about cars that once had a diesel engine fitted though.
Ill try and post some pics tomorrow night.

yeah I know robbie you can never get your hopes up when they say it will arrive cos stuff never arrives on time.
I dont really mind if it doesn't arrive today cos I know it will get here by tomorrow no matter what. 1 more sleep wont hurt. (it left Devenport This morning which is a 3 hour drive away)
I just replaced the Passenger side wheel bearing and oil seals...
(12 Minutes 33 Seconds to get the axle out including taking the wheel off and jacking the vehicle!!)
Looks like I might have been spending a little too much time in the mud!!
Rocks mainly from now on!
Hows your bundy goning Robbie?
Nick
PS:Skip dont forget those pics tonight!!

you're in luck, it just so happens it's standing in the driveway with a back wheel off so I will go give it a clean and take a few pics.
the discs are GQ patrol rears. the calipers are Subaru sportswagon, about 1984 I think. handbrake in the disk calipers, handbrake works well. the proportioning front/rear is screwed but it stops pretty well, better than it ever did with drum rear. the brackets I fabbed from 8mm plate, if you're super keen I can pull the brakets and make templates from them.

Thanks for those pics skip... it is something that I will look into after I finish this conversion.
Engine arrived on Thursday. Bribed Freight Company to bring it to my place on the back of a ute for a carton of beer.
So I got the engine on Friday morning first thing. Looks to be in good condition.
Started removing all the dash and shiat to get the wiring loom and computer out.
Any way did heaps today and last night. I have finished for the day and the engine is proudly hanging off the ceiling down stairs with 1/2 a GA70 Supa underneath it.
Got the gearbox out and is in good nic. Look in the for sale section for more details.
Anyway, tomorrow I will clean up my mess and take alot of this crap to the tip. Afterthat I will see how it looks in the bundy!!
Bellhousing matchs perfectly BTW!
Regards,
Nick
Only took 1/2 pic and that was when the thing arrived. Will post them up later..
