Got a new three core for my TD42 from Repco for $460 trade, obviously it will be more if you dont know anyone in the trade. Recore on my original 2 core from local Natrad was going to cost the same & they quoted 700 to recore it to three core. I went new, 2 years warranty & cheap to boot.

1000+ for an aluminium.
they do standard radiartors also for around $400-$600
and a triple pass for $700

have used them many times for worked v8s that would run hot. real good stuff.

I bought a complete new radiator from a Natrad dealer at the end of last year, which cost me $484 incl GST.

The part number was NIS973CMD. This is for a manual TD42 (GQ). From memory the petrol one is about the same cost.

So far it seems to be working pretty well. The only thing i wasn't really impressed with was the slightly smaller diameter (about 2mm) of the filler/cap neck, which makes the cap very hard to remove and install.

Hope that helps.

Did you replace the thermostat/coolant, bleed the system properly & make sure the bottom hose isn closing in on itself?
