I am looking at re-carperting the front section of a bundera. is this a very hard thing to do? if not, is there anyone who has done something similar you can give any advice?
thanks

re carpeting interiors

i redid theall the door panels in a patrol with carpet from bunnings. Not marine carpet, but more a speaker box carpet. Its not quite as thick, and bends a bit easier into shape.
With a cheapo staple gun it was done in no time.
If you are doing the floor carpet, i think there is a place around Knox in Melb that does interior carpets pretty cheap

GQ Patrol with a few bits and pieces.
Its an easy enough job to do it bodgilly, but to do it properly is a bit involved. I had a upholsterer friend help (well, pretty much do
). Took a good 3hrs IIRC just to do the front section in a 2dr SWB. But it looks shmick
3mm(?) Marine carpet.
If you want to do it on the cheap, DIY. Its not terribly hard but you get what you pay for. Get sum gluey stuff to stick it down with, preferebly with underliner under it.
