NH Clutch Problem
Moderator: -Scott-
Define jerks, you cant let it out progressively, no friction, no friction and then just grabs, or the clutch shudders as you release it??
If its the latter, been a new clutch its most likely that you bent the spline of the clutch plate when installing the gear box, so not having it level when you were rockin it in, not having the spline lined up properly etc. You may have overgreased something, perhaps didnt clean the new pressure plate from its 'anti rust' stuff (assuming it was a kit).
Basically there are normally 2 causes, bent plate / spline or contamination, be it from the gear main, input shaft, not cleaned properly, excessive grease etc.
Bit more info....
