wing removal

Post by lexi »

What`s the go with getting front wings off a GQ. Is it all bolts after removing doors for access or are there any spot welds?

I mean the part where the Patrol 4x4 badge is. Anyone renewed them? Screwed and glued? Any procedure for removing them for replacement?

sorry guys I don`t mean the badge itself but the whole front gaurd. I can see where it bolts along inner gaurd and would asume there may be a few other bolts once door is removed for access. It`s just that if there are no dramas with spot welds I may renew them as I have bubbling on the edges.

remove the plastic inner guard, undo the screws "in" the engine bay, open the door and you can unscrew the last 2 .... no problem at all ...
