Unless it is very high power with inductive or capacitive loads (Power factor changes), but we're talking 415V 3 phase into high power ac motors or banks of flouro lights. Normal 240 volts shouldn't be too much of an issue if you use all the bits that are meant to go with whatever you are installing (ie. ballast for flouros, capacitor for some ac induction motors).

So yes....
