LIFT !!! you're not going to believe the quote!

Post by harvey »

I recently enquired about a body lift here in the UK for a patrol. I had asked Marks 4WD Adapters but they sent me to a woman in France who forwarded me onto an oufit in the UK - based out of Manchester i think. Anyway... what started out as a simple query based on what it'd cost to get one of their $200 buck 1" lift shipped over to me in Cambridge has just been quoted at £2000 + VAT for parts and fitting!!!! Now i've heard of exchange rates but i'm not bloody stupid!

Harvey. I`m gonna do mine myself as it`s easy to buy metal and have it machined by friends in workshop. I may also renew rubber mounts although they are a tenner each. Ask him if the two grand is for a spring lift body lift new shocks alloy wheels and 33 inch BFGs :D

Are you sure it wasnt a body lift, to fix sagging from old age?

Or was it sexual favours while waiting in the waiting room?
