A while ago I rang around to get a dual battery set up for my LN106,there was only 1 place that said it will fit under the bonnet (they said I`d need a diffrent aircleaner) that it had to be moved closer to the firewall. Also said I wouldnt/couldnt get a big battery in,just a medium sized one.Everywhere else said I would have to mount the battery up underneath my tray.Im not keen on that so never got the set up.

Good luck

No I havent put a 2nd one under the bonnet, mine is in the tub.
In a battery box, secured to the floor in the corner behind the drivers seat in the tub. This way you are not restricted to what size you have and you dont have to stuff around moving stuff under the bonnet either.
Im running a 700amp battery there, the same size as my main, and have some extended jumperleads made up to reach in case I need then. Normally use it though for the fridge, or to running lights etc off while at camp.

Did fit one to my lux when i had it took a bit of time but you still use the same air box, induction hoses and everything.. (plus it fits with a snorkel set up to which i was told it wouldnt by different company)

TJM make a kit that comes with everything to make it fit and you can run a BIG deep cycle battery N70 i think it was......

Was one of the best mods i ever did and its price wasnt that   either

Bogan,

More info - what price etc?

I know that you can get a SURF air filter that fits under the bonnet and moves it up above the wheel arch leaving space behinf the headlight on the passenger side free for a battery

I dont work for TJM anymore so unsure of the price (due staff discount ;) ;) ;) ;) ) It took me ages to track a kit down for it

Nah you keep your same air box in the kit is a round plate and a tube off it and you have to cut the end of the box off and attach the supplied plate back on (rivets and silicone)

Mine didnt look the best.. so it mite be better to get a different air box but still use the plate outta the kit and bolt it in

Dont really have any pics of it did the job before i had digi cam   and now have sold the truck

Prob best to contact your local TJM supplier if they dont know bout it
give the guys i use to work for a call and they will be able to supply ya one
