Front axle question
when i reassemble my front axle i want to ditch the backing plates - will i need to make a spacer for where the backing plates bolted onto the knuckle assembly?

does removing this plate allow the disk 2 b damaged easier ?? i know the plate is only like 1 or 2 mm but still ??

cut around the plate over the spindle, don't forget to leave the tab that the brake hose runs through.
you need the seal on the backing plate to help keep crap away from the rear bearing seal on the rotor.
