A friend of mine is looking at a 92 swb petrol GQ. He asked if I knew of any diference in the running gear between the two, but the conversation got cut short.
Any info welcome so I can sound like GQ guru when I next talk to him
Cheers fnq
*JUST LUV IT* 96 GQ LWB TD4.2, Cav, Kings, Dobinsons, Motorguard, Enginesaver, 400 pro, Cooper ST's (rolls eyes), fleetguard oil filters, Delo 400 engine oil, Delo ESI gearbox oil and an RTC.
Ahh theres more than tailshaft if we are compareing them after 92models (or around that era). As the TB42 in the LWB has EFI. Where as no SWB came from the factory with EFI (in AUS atleast). Although I have seen a number with EFI (including the stickers).
also i discovered that a LWB tailshaft and SWB tailshaft are different in thickness. the splines on a LWB shaft are bigger in size and the rod which slides into the end of the shaft is about 10mm thicker on a LWB.
