should be plenty of tracks to drive/find/make.

its just not the same as comp tracks, but I can understand the reasoning. but it still sucks!!

Oh this is just great isn't it, eh?

This is not about pissing in corners - it's about having to pay thousands of dollars in excavation work to fix the tracks before the event.
We work on Tuff Truck for 9 months of the year FOR NOTHING - ZILCH - ZIP - ZERO - NADA.

We PAID for the business, we PAID the lander owner - so why the FARKING HELL should we pay OUT OF OUR OWN FARKING POCKETS to repair damage from other people to cutting up what we PAID for?

Would you allow it? I don't think so.

Stop acting like a pack of whinging bytches and think of someone else for once.

There is a SHITLOAD of fantastic driving on that property.

Sorry Chopzuki - you've been great about this - I'm just fed up with the others.

Well, it appears taking myself down a level is the only way to get a point across on this subject.
If people don't understand that it's purely a cost factor, they never will.

How would the TLCC or the Nissan Club react to people cutting up their property or tracks and then them having to pay out of their own pockets to fix it?
They wouldn't let it happen - so why should TT be any different?

Anyone on here who wants to have a whinge is MORE than welcome to mortgae their house to run TTC - any takers?

If thats the call of TTC then that should be final. I would love to havea crack at the tracks, but i would be happy to take your desicion. Unfortunatley i cant afford to wheel this weekend, but am gonna try to get up to watch and yell at people. Dont whinge people, there is heaps of stuff to drive out there. Enjoy the oppertunity to wheel with other zook nuts. If you really wanted to wheel TT courses there was a weekend not that long ago for that.

Yeah well Squik DO TELL ALL THE PLANS OF THE COMMITTEE about the LEASE system you are in discussions with the owner so what then you charge out your a.s.s's even more so for the TT comp and then stop any1 and every1 from using land :?:

Now this little comment was made by some1 Im sure you know ...

SO TELL us , then what so called 4wdrivers may well be shutting down an area to only use for there own financial gain ... thousands of people x 55 ea plus the day entrys , if youse werent coming out with money left over something is up with that :?

FIND MORE SPONSORS as to cover these costs as I mentioned to Greg .....what I see so damn funny is how you are bitching about costs of a comp that youse wish to run (and seem to think and speak like the land is yours ) not just rented for the weekend

I didnt intend to start such a bullshite (PISSING) contest over this ......im not even goin to drive .I dont care where they wish to drive ......and yes there are far better tracks to drive than the TT tracks ....as what has already been mentioned ........
what got me going is how you whinge about the costs.... of up keep .......and certain comments made previuosly when people were in attendence of this area ...... Tell me why you had to spend $8500-9000 grand moving a few rocks around to run near identical courses as per the year b4 when as said there is a heap of great driving on this property use another area and have some more variation of courses than same old same old

Now what I would understand about all the comments of upkeep to these courses and the committee had worrys about other people destroying the tracks was if this was the weekend b4 TT ......other than that ITS PRIVATE PROPERTY if the owner had no dramas(or concerns of degeneration) of where people were to drive than cool its HIS land to say SO this IS POINT I was trying to get accross  IF HE said NO than fine any1 would respect HIS comment as he is the TOP BLOKE that is allowing US (4wdrivers)to use his awesome property ..........................

THATs IT GET IT YET

Ok, bring your cheque book......you run TT then.....easy :D

We use the same tracks because THAT IS ALL WE HAVE PAID FOR and we don't want to upset anyone by using stuff WE HAVEN'T PAID FOR.

We only need to rebuild if TRACKS ARE DAMAGED.

So if you rent your home, does that give you NO rights because it is owned by someone else? Can I come in and trash it and you have to just take it?

You really aren't understanding this very well are you?

Just saw your sig line - I am sure your sponsors would be so proud of you.

OK I understand what you are saying.. But can you clear somthing up for me as a newbie to all this..

Do you rent the site for 12mths or do you only rent the site for the one weekend... If you rent the site for 12mths than fair enough you have the right to say who can and can't use it... BUT if you only rent the land for 1 weekend then you really have NO right to say who can and can't use those tracks... I would assume that you only do rent for the weekend and that is why you are trying to negotiate with the owner for a lease as such..

So does this mean that no other 4wd club or competition can use this part of the land?? Cause I was under the impression that previously other events have been held on these tracks without this shit fight that this weekend is attracting...

mmm the only time I carry a Cheque book is to go to TT because the entry is bloody expensive particulary to people with a family with children over 5 as you were charging an entry fee to children im sure 5 and over ....now come on the children are only there cause there parents are :!: most other kind of venues charge for children YES but the norm is atleast 12 and over pay a fee , I my self got asked how old my son was now he was 2 ,I dont know about you but I can pick the difference between a 2 and a 5 year old child ....

You really aren't understanding this very well are you?

Well then help and clear it up than just side stepping the questions what have you rented and for how long does this rent fee cover ,1 weekend with a agreement for a number years in the future to use this land?or the 12months? (in future hope to Lease ) If this was stated from the start there IM sure would be no issues if its leased for 12months of the year I would expect to see locked fences to stop people that are unaware of the use of the land ..........

Canada I realise they have rented the area for TT otherwise why would the owner want thousands of people habitating his land if he was not receiving any benifits from entry fees that are charged .. WHATS the DEAL ......and what plans are now being brought forward to lease this area is this so the WERock series final cant use the same areas as TT and design better courses as was the case previously

The sponsors that are listed are listed as valued people that have helped - donated either time or equipment to the Overkill Team ...in no way I can see Have I spoilt any kind of reputation these people have so please clear that and point out where I have, even if some have sponsored the TT event .....and with the help they have given to the Team I dont mind showing a thanks to there support .

pfffffft im over it......either way I will be here on the weekend .....YOU will see me wearing a Team shirt advertising again the TEAMS valued sponsors .................
