from what? vitara power steer to sierra? or you have a vitara without power steering? vitara should be pretty easy all the bits should just bolt on. sierra there is some fabbing of mounts required and you will need to change pullys. not expensive. perhaps 400 dollars for pump, box and resovoir from a wreckers. it may cost more in new zealand

If my lazy cousin got off his ass I would be able to tell you . We just ripped all the plumbing out of the vitara we took the engine from so the therory was it will all bolt in again .

Hope thats the case otherwise he will have more work .

most vitaras have pwer steering. I always assumed that it was standard from factory. I you just buy all the bits, box, pump and resovoir, make sure you get the brackets with it, it should be a pretty straight forward bolt on job. ie no fab work required.

oh right thanx. yes in new zealand when people ordered suzuki's from factory they came with nothing unless you wanted to pay mega $$$ for it so no power steer, aircon nothing. but all the jap imports have everything, i am looking to buy a vitara and found 1 but it was nz new and i want power steer so i was looking at what it would cost to put it in. but i think i will just wait for a jap import to come along that will have all the bits for the right price! thanx heaps for the info though!
