Matt what ru doing? Arn't you were meant to be in the garage rebuilding that truck  or are you just going to move up to something more :2gunfire: and just buy a rover

A full competitor list will be posted on the awwc forum hopefully by Tuesday 9/5 (depending on how fast my fingers are) and we will be asking teams to submit electronic photos for posting next to your team details.

Guys & Gals this is your chance to help promote the event and provide better coverage for YOUR sponsors as well as building a support base for YOUR team going forward.

Will all three of the sunday stages bee held in roughly the same location as last year...

I think last year there was a stage over the back of the hill that you could go watch after a bit of a walk... Same deal for '06?

We plan to finalise all stages this week end and the times that each will be running. There will certainly be two stages close together where Sunday's stages were last year. Should be able to provide more updates next week.

Well 7 weeks to go and feeling pretty confident we will be up and running for the ATECO the front and rear diffs are in new bearings through out plus 30 spline longfields. Steering is completed as well as new front springs. Still need new shocks but we have a plan their ;) The 5 speed is in too, tail shafts ready. Engine just about ready. Cage goes back in on Tuesday and time to bring on the grinder for the sills and rear arches so the sliders can go back on. Then the gas tank can be refitted.

But on the whole looking good

I thought the rules were quite clear, it was something like 36.5" maximum @ minimum 20psi when measured, no problems there, it's stated clearly in the rules (have a look for yourself, don't trust my memory as to what the measurments are). If you are worried, simply run a 35.

Greg, Don't think you would need to go through a full scrutineering again as you did the OBC and should have your log book. Therefore you should only need to do a minor scrutineering ie: recovery and safety gear and hand in your log book for the duration of the event.

This was the intentions of the CCDA but don't know if it has been fully implemented.

Hopefully TRobbo will clear this up for us.

Is your brother running your rope or is Todd swapping to the co-drivers seat?

Cheers, Shane.

As the Fish said, if you have your log book scruitineering then event scruitineering will be a check that your recovery gear etc. Check sheet 4 of the supplimentary regs details what will be checked. This scruitineering will be done on site by Coops.
If log book scruitineering is not in place then arrangements will be made with you for this to occur before the event.

Cheers Shane & Tony, all is good. Andy is running the string out for me,Mark thinks the hills are to steep down there for his finely tuned fitness programme.

Cheers Scanno.
