yeah, the late 88 onwards x-cabs and some dual cabs. Not sure when the SR5 dual cabs come with IFS. Does anyone know if this was an option or wether Toyota changed them all over in the later SR5's?

well from what i gather all extra cab utes from the very late 80's LN RN 106 were IFS and then in the mid early 90's they changed the SR5 dual cab to having IFS. From what i gather the chassis arent too much different just the suspension and steering.
If your building a custom suspension set up since the IFS doesnt have much travel to start with, you could start off with either and setting it up how you want.
