My right window works fine, when i go to use my left it goes down fine but then does not want to come back up, i have to try for about 10 minutes then it sometimes decides to work. WTF

First guess - dodgy switch. Do you have two for the left window?
Next guess - I had a motor which was intermittent - I think it was one open winding, so if the motor stopped on it, it wouldn't restart. I'd guess it doesn't stop on that winding in the up position, but does in the down position.
